Several well-known NASCAR drivers will become honorary jailbirds at the 4th Annual Jail & Bail Charity Event, set for Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Boatyard Lake Norman in Cornelius, NC. The NASCAR drivers charity event aims to support women entering technical careers in motorsports by raising funds through a unique and entertaining fundraiser.
Charity Event Supports Women in Motorsports
The Jail & Bail event is organized to benefit the Brienne Davis Memorial Scholarship, established to honor Brienne Davis, a notable NASCAR Technical Inspector. This scholarship is designed to provide essential financial support to women pursuing careers in motorsports and the automotive industry, areas where female representation has been historically low. Since its inception, the $10,000 scholarship awards have enabled 50 women to receive industry training, with this year’s event striving to double that impact and assist 50 more women in achieving their career ambitions.
Star NASCAR Drivers Compete for a Good Cause
This year’s participants include drivers such as Ryan Blaney, Alex Bowman, Joey Logano, Michael McDowell, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr., with more set to compete. These drivers will be tasked with raising their bail through donations, all under the watchful eye of Judge Larry McReynolds, widely known as America’s Crew Chief. Mamba Smith will energize the crowd as Chief Hype Officer, while broadcasting personality Danielle Trotta will lead the evening’s proceedings as emcee. The event will also feature a live performance from 20 RIDE, America’s top Zac Brown tribute band, creating a lively atmosphere for attendees.

Industry Support and Ticket Information
The 2025 fundraiser has garnered strong support from top sponsors including 23XI Racing, Hendrick Motorsports, Team Penske, Rush Truck Centers, Joe Gibbs Racing, JR Motorsports, and Trackhouse Racing. Their involvement highlights the industry’s commitment to nurturing future talent in technical fields related to racing.
Jennifer Bergeron, Chief Operating Officer of TechForce Foundation, emphasized the purpose of the event:
“Jail & Bail is more than a fundraiser—it’s an investment in the next generation of technicians,”
said Jennifer Bergeron, Chief Operating Officer of TechForce Foundation. She also stated,
“Brienne Davis opened doors for women in motorsports, and this scholarship continues her legacy. TechForce Foundation is proud to help women secure the resources and confidence to pursue technical careers.”
Tickets for the event are now available through TechForce.org/JailBail. The first 100 tickets are being offered at $50 each as a limited-time promotion, after which prices increase to $80 in advance and $100 at the door. Fans are also able to contribute directly to the cause by donating toward the bail of their favorite driver using the code NASCAR2025 by texting 71777.
A Lasting Impact on Motorsports Diversity
With NASCAR personalities such as Ryan Blaney, Alex Bowman, Joey Logano, Michael McDowell, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. drawing attention to the cause, the charity event aims to build a path for women in technical motorsports careers, honoring the legacy of Brienne Davis. The success of the fundraiser could play a significant role in bridging gender gaps within the field and providing real opportunities for aspiring female technicians. The contributions raised on October 22 at Boatyard Lake Norman will help shape the future of diversity and technical excellence in motorsports.
