Josh Williams Set for DGM Racing Return in Multiyear Deal

Josh Williams will return to the No. 92 Chevrolet for DGM Racing in a multiyear agreement, kicking off a new chapter at the 2026 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series season opener at Daytona International Speedway. This Josh Williams DGM Racing return marks his fifth full-time year with the Florida-based team, as he aims to build on a longstanding and successful partnership.

Williams Begins Fifth Full Season with DGM Racing

With just under 100 days before the inaugural O’Reilly Auto Parts Series (NOAPS) event, DGM Racing has reaffirmed its relationship with Williams, a veteran driver raised in Port Charlotte, Florida. The upcoming Daytona opener on February 14, 2026, will be particularly special, as it represents both the start of the new season and Williams’ 250th career NOAPS start—a significant milestone for any driver in the series.

Williams has developed his reputation while racing for DGM, where he’s had his most successful season to date in 2020. Out of his 249 starts, 170 have been behind the wheel of a DGM Racing car. The partnership has led to impressive results: Williams has recorded a best finish of sixth place, achieved 11 Top 10 finishes, and landed in the Top 15 an impressive 34 times, cementing his place as a reliable contender.

Steve Addington Named New Full-Time Crew Chief

DGM Racing has promoted NASCAR veteran Steve Addington to the role of full-time crew chief for Williams’ No. 92 Chevrolet. Addington, who previously assisted Williams as a part-time crew chief during the 2025 season, brings a wealth of experience with over 30 years in NASCAR. He has participated in more than 750 national-level races, securing 11 NOAPS wins and 20 victories in the NASCAR Cup Series. His credentials include working with iconic drivers such as Kyle Busch, Kurt Busch, and Tony Stewart, adding a high level of expertise to Williams’ team.

“The entire Gosselin family has been nothing but great to me my entire NASCAR career, and I consider them family of my own,”

“I’m thankful to have the opportunity to bring an amazing group of partners to the team that are ready to support our dream of taking this team to the next level – something that everyone at DGM deserves. I’m confident that Steve will be a huge asset to our group, and I look forward to working alongside him and Mario to put the No. 92 up front and build something special for years to come.”

Strengthening the Team: Reed Sorenson Returns as Spotter

Continuing to enhance its roster, DGM Racing has also confirmed that former driver Reed Sorenson will resume the role of spotter for Williams. The duo shares a longstanding working relationship spanning five years and multiple teams. In their standout 2020 season with DGM Racing, this driver-spotter duo helped Williams reach a career-high sixth-place finish at Kansas Speedway, earn six Top 10 results, and secure 15th in the overall points standings. This collaboration is expected to bring proven communication and strategy benefits as they compete in the upcoming competition.

Team Chemistry and Leadership Under Mario Gosselin

“It really is a full-circle moment welcoming Josh back to our organization,”

— Mario Gosselin, Team Owner

“We’ve spent countless hours working on racecars together, achieving some of our best results, and building memories that have shaped this team into what it is today. Josh is more than just a driver – he is a true friend of mine and someone that we all call family. He even shared his sponsor with me so I could race last off-season! He’s a racer through and through, and his passion makes him a perfect fit for our team as we enter a new era in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series.”

— Mario Gosselin, Team Owner

This renewed partnership puts trust in the team leadership of Mario Gosselin, whose relationship with Williams has seen DGM Racing reach new heights. Each key member of the organization, including crew chief Steve Addington, spotter Reed Sorenson, and team partners, is positioned to maximize the team’s performance for the upcoming NOAPS season.
