Carson Kvapil Joins DGM Racing for Four Races in 2026

In a strategic move for the upcoming racing season, Carson Kvapil is set to participate in four NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series events for DGM Racing in 2026. This arrangement ensures that Kvapil will complete his full-time schedule next year, enhancing his pursuit of the championship in the highly competitive series.

Kvapil’s Expanded Racing Commitments for 2026

DGM Racing formally announced on Wednesday that Carson Kvapil will pilot the No. 91 Chevrolet during four key races in the 2026 season. His first start in the DGM Racing entry will come at Circuit of The Americas next weekend, a track known for its technical challenges and international flair. He will continue his partnership with DGM Racing at Watkins Glen International, Charlotte Motor Speedway, and Sonoma Raceway, venues that each offer unique racing conditions and are significant stops in the series calendar.

Balancing Schedules with JR Motorsports and DGM Racing

Throughout the season, Kvapil’s primary commitment remains with JR Motorsports, where he is currently scheduled to compete in 24 races driving the No. 1 Chevrolet. On top of his duties in the No. 1 car, he will take on five more events behind the wheel of the team’s No. 9 Chevrolet. The addition of the four DGM Racing entries allows Kvapil to round out his calendar, meaning he will now be able to compete in every event necessary to remain in the hunt for the full-season championship.

What This Means for the 2026 Series

By aligning with both JR Motorsports and DGM Racing, Carson Kvapil effectively maximizes his seat time, which is crucial for experience and performance as the season unfolds. His ability to adapt between teams and cars, including the DGM Racing No. 91 Chevrolet and the entries fielded by JR Motorsports, highlights his versatility and competitiveness. The additional starts with DGM Racing fill strategic gaps in his 2026 campaign, positioning Kvapil as a leading contender for the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series title and putting both organizations, including DGM Racing and JR Motorsports, in the spotlight as the season approaches.
