Chevrolet Dominating Sweep: Chevrolet celebrated a triumphant sweep of the manufacturers’ championship in all three NASCAR national series, securing the prestigious Cup series honor at Martinsville Speedway.

This marks Chevrolet’s third consecutive victory in the manufacturers’ championship for the Cup Series, adding to their illustrious tally of 42 overall wins. The manufacturer had already clinched titles in both the Craftsman Truck series and Xfinity series on October 21 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, solidifying their dominance across NASCAR.

Jim Campbell, General Motors U.S. vice president of performance and motorsports, expressed his pride, stating, “Chevrolet is honored to win the 2023 NASCAR Cup series manufacturer championship for the third consecutive year and the 42nd time overall. This title is the result of great teamwork by the Chevrolet drivers, crew chiefs, and teams working tirelessly throughout the season.

Chevrolet’s impressive season included 17 victories achieved by seven different drivers. Their remarkable journey commenced with a notable win at the Daytona 500 with Ricky Stenhouse Jr., marking their first victory in the iconic race since 2018 with Austin Dillon behind the wheel.

Leading the charge for Chevrolet, William Byron showcased his prowess with six wins in the No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet, establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with on the track.

Megan Brobeck, GM Racing program manager for the NASCAR Cup series, lauded the achievement, stating, “Winning the Manufacturer Championship in the NASCAR Cup Series is a remarkable achievement. As the season culminates in the finale at Phoenix Raceway, Chevrolet will have two drivers from Hendrick Motorsports, namely William Byron and teammate Kyle Larson, competing for the championship, reflecting the brand’s unwavering commitment to excellence on the racetrack.
