Rajah Caruth to Drive for JR Motorsports in 2026 Xfinity

Rajah Caruth will join the JR Motorsports NASCAR Xfinity Series lineup in 2026, driving the team’s No. 88 Chevrolet as announced in Mooresville, North Carolina on Tuesday. Caruth is set to compete part-time next year before taking on a larger role, reflecting JR Motorsports’ ongoing efforts to develop new talent.

JR Motorsports Reveals New Driver Lineup Plans

The announcement confirms Caruth as the third confirmed driver for JR Motorsports in their Xfinity Series roster for the 2026 season. Previously, JR Motorsports had revealed that Carson Kvapil and Connor Zilisch will share the No. 1 car. Caruth’s addition strengthens the team’s driver lineup as they look to build on previous successes in the series.

Caruth’s Record in NASCAR

Currently, Rajah Caruth is competing full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, where he holds second place in points. Heading into the final event before the Championship 4, he is 14 points above the cutoff. His highlights include a victory at Nashville Superspeedway this season and a win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway last year.

Caruth also brings experience from the Xfinity Series, having made 22 starts. His best finishes so far are two 12th-place results at the fall races at Martinsville Speedway in both 2022 and 2023. With these results, Caruth has proven consistency and adaptability across different circuits.

Looking Ahead to 2026 and Beyond

While Caruth is set to compete part-time in the JR Motorsports NASCAR Xfinity Series next year, the team has not specified if he will participate in any additional Truck Series races in 2026. As the team prepares its multi-driver approach and looks to integrate both new and returning talent, attention is focused on Caruth’s potential contributions in both the Xfinity and Truck Series.

The addition of Rajah Caruth to JR Motorsports signals a continued investment in emerging drivers and may influence team strategy for upcoming seasons, especially as they seek to remain contenders at major venues like Nashville Superspeedway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and Martinsville Speedway.
