Ross Chastain Returns to JR Motorsports for 2026 Races

Ross Chastain will again join JR Motorsports for select O’Reilly Auto Parts Series events in 2026, strengthening the partnership with Trackhouse Racing. This move, involving the Ross Chastain JR Motorsports 2026 collaboration, will also see Shane van Gisbergen return, both sharing the No. 9 Chevrolet next season.

Strong Showings in the 2025 Season

During the 2025 season, Chastain and van Gisbergen entered eight total races together. Shane van Gisbergen notably secured a win at the Chicago Street Course, and followed up with a second-place finish behind Connor Zilisch at Sonoma Raceway. Ross Chastain performed consistently, earning three top-five outcomes across five starts, including leading a race-best 120 laps at Iowa Speedway. Their success highlighted the strength of the partnership and showcased their abilities across various tracks.

The No. 9 Chevrolet to Be Shared Again

The No. 9 Chevrolet, which competed in ten races during 2025, will once again be co-driven by Chastain and van Gisbergen in the upcoming season. The arrangement aims to build on their momentum and continue delivering competitive performances for JR Motorsports and Trackhouse Racing.
