Stefan Parsons has been named driver of the Spire Motorsports No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado for the NASAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series season-ending race at Phoenix Raceway, putting the spotlight on Spire Motorsports NASCAR Truck Series and their primary sponsor, Transportation Charter Services (TCS). The event is set as the highly anticipated finale, drawing attention from fans and industry insiders alike as Parsons prepares to make his debut with the team.
Parsons’ Racing Legacy and Career Progression
Stefan Parsons brings a notable family heritage to the track, as the son of former NASCAR Cup Series driver and FOX Sports broadcaster Phil Parsons and nephew to the late 1973 Cup Series champion, Benny Parsons. Born in Cornelius, North Carolina, Parsons competes part-time in both the NASCAR Xfinity Series and Truck Series, continuing the family tradition of racing excellence.
“I’m really excited to have Transportation Charter Services (TCS) on board for my first race with Spire Motorsports,”
said Parsons.
“Phoenix is a big market for TCS, and I’m proud to represent them on such a big stage. Spire always brings fast trucks to the track, and I’m ready to go out there and make the most of it.”

Parsons launched his racing journey in the Bandolero division in 2011, achieving his initial victory one year later at Charlotte Motor Speedway during the Summer Shootout Series. He soon moved up to compete in the CARS Late Model Stock Tour, taking part in nearly 20 events between 2015 and 2017 and steadily developing his skills and reputation on the circuit.
Competitive Experience and Notable Starts
Making his debut in the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series in August 2018 at Bristol Motor Speedway with Premium Motorsports, Parsons quickly gained experience on the national stage. Just a year later, he made his first start in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Daytona International Speedway for BJ McLeod Motorsports. Since then, Parsons has raced in nearly 70 events in the Xfinity Series and 30 in the Truck Series from 2018 to 2025, all while embracing and honoring his family’s substantial legacy in the sport.

TCS and Spire Motorsports Partnership
Terry Fischer, President of TCS, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration with Spire Motorsports and supporting partners for this championship race.
“We are thrilled to partner with Stefan Parsons Racing, Prevost, Suggs Sports Marketing and the American Bus Association for the Spire Motorsports No. 7 sponsorship at the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Championship race in Phoenix,”
said Fischer.
“We’re proud to bring the TCS brand to the racetrack in a fun and innovative way — showcasing the same passion, performance, and reliability that define who we are as a company.”
