HISTORY 

Kaulig Racing, founded by entrepreneur Matt Kaulig in 2016, has rapidly developed into a competitive force within NASCAR. Based in Welcome, North Carolina, the team entered the racing scene with a strong commitment to success and growth, initially focusing on the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Kaulig Racing made its motorsport debut at the 2016 PowerShares QQQ 300 at Daytona, marking the beginning of its journey in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. With a strategic focus on building a robust team and securing top talent, the team quickly found success. Over the years, Kaulig Racing has become a staple in the Xfinity Series, notching up 23 race victories and multiple playoff appearances. The team’s performance in this series demonstrated its capability and helped establish its reputation as a competitive outfit.

Building on its success in the Xfinity Series, Kaulig Racing expanded its operations to include the NASCAR Cup Series. The team made its Cup Series debut at the 2020 Daytona 500, marking a significant milestone in its history. Since then, Kaulig Racing has participated in numerous Cup Series races, achieving two race victories and demonstrating its growth and potential at NASCAR’s highest level.

As of 2024, Kaulig Racing continues to compete actively in both the NASCAR Cup Series and the NASCAR Xfinity Series. The team has participated in a total of 367 races across both series. Despite not having secured a Drivers’ Championship yet, the team’s achievements include 23 wins in the Xfinity Series and 2 in the Cup Series, alongside 15 pole positions. These accomplishments highlight Kaulig Racing’s upward trajectory and its commitment to excellence in competitive racing.

NASCAR XFINITY SERIES 

Kaulig Racing is a prominent team in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, established by Matt Kaulig in 2016. The team is an extension of Kaulig’s entrepreneurial spirit, stemming from his success with LeafFilter Gutter Protection. Headquartered in Welcome, North Carolina, Kaulig Racing began its journey in NASCAR with a full-time entry in the Xfinity Series.

Since its inception, Kaulig Racing has quickly established itself as a competitive force within the series. The team initially entered the competition with a single full-time car, number 11, and gradually expanded its operations to include multiple entries.
