Rajah Caruth Secures Full 2026 NASCAR Run, Eyes Title Shot

Rajah Caruth will compete in every race of the 2026 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, with support from JR Motorsports and Jordan Anderson Racing, striving for the championship in his first full season. The milestone means Caruth will pilot the No. 88 Chevrolet for JR Motorsports in 33 races and the No. 32 Jordan Anderson Racing Chevy for the remaining 10, making Rajah Caruth 2026 NASCAR season a historic one for the 23-year-old driver.

Caruth Gets Backing from Two Teams for Full Season

After racing part-time for three years and making 22 starts with multiple organizations, Caruth’s 2026 journey began with a part-time contract at JR Motorsports earlier this year. That deal locked in 33 races with JRM’s No. 88. Recently, Jordan Anderson Racing filled the schedule’s remaining 10 races, assigning Caruth to their No. 32 Chevrolet—an entry he previously piloted twice in the last season.

The announcement was made by Jordan Anderson Racing on X, and Caruth expressed excitement on social media with his gratitude to supporters and sponsors:

“Excited to be able to run a full season and contend for the @NASCAR_Xfinity title! Thank you @TeamChevy and @JARnascar.”

The move marks Caruth’s debut as a full-time competitor in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, the division formerly recognized as the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Caruth’s strongest performance in the series to date is twelfth place, achieved in 2022 at the Dead on Tools 250 at Martinsville Speedway for Alpha Prime Racing.

Team Confidence in Caruth’s Talent and Growth

Jordan Anderson, owner of Jordan Anderson Racing, highlighted Caruth’s development both on and off the track. Anderson commented on Caruth’s positive impact within the team and his dedication, stating:

“We’ve enjoyed getting to know Rajah and watching him continue to grow each year as a driver. He brings great energy to our group and works well with everyone here. We’re excited to have him back in our Chevrolets and to play a key role in helping him run the full season and chase a championship.”

– Jordan Anderson, Team Owner

Last season, Caruth made Xfinity Series appearances at Dover Motor Speedway and Daytona International Speedway with Jordan Anderson Racing, and an additional start at Kansas for Hendrick Motorsports to close out his 2025 campaign. These experiences provided a variety of competitive opportunities, building a foundation for his first complete season run.

Joining an Esteemed List of Trailblazing NASCAR Drivers

Caruth’s career has already included a historic moment: a victory in March 2024 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Truck Series Victoria’s Voice Foundation 200. This win was pivotal not only as his first in victory lane, but because it made him the third Black driver to claim a win in NASCAR’s national series, following Hall of Famer Wendell Scott and Bubba Wallace of 23XI Racing.

Reflecting on his breakthrough at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Caruth remarked,

“It’s surreal. Thanks so much to (sponsor) HendrickCars.com and Mr. H (Rick Hendrick) for putting me in this thing all year, and with the men and women at Spire.”

He also credited those who helped him reach that high point:

“So many people have helped me get to this point, and I can’t believe it. I just stayed cool,”

he added. – Rajah Caruth, Driver

Looking Forward to the 2026 Campaign and Beyond

The next event on Caruth’s schedule is the United Rentals 300 at Daytona International Speedway, set for February 14. The 120-lap race will air live on CW at 5 pm ET, with radio coverage on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, placing Caruth alongside NASCAR’s most recognized names.

Rajah Caruth’s full 2026 NASCAR season signals a significant chapter not only for his career, but also for his teams—JR Motorsports and Jordan Anderson Racing—who are both eager to see him contend for the championship and write a new page in NASCAR’s evolving history.
